Potts started acting at seven, growing up on film sets, and he says since his time on “Robocop” with Peter Strauss, he hasn’t enjoyed a role as much as the character of Sam in “The Killing Strain.” Sam’s a geek, and he all he has is his smarts to keep him alive. Potts brings not only his native intelligence to the role, but also his humanity, as Sam volunteers for the most dangerous mission of all… one from which he may not return.
